St. Joseph’s Eng. Med. H.S.S. Aloor, founded in 1964, is managed by the sisters of Holy Family Congregation

It is recognised by the Kerala Education Department and students sit for the Kerala S.S.L.C. and Plus Two Examinations. St. Joseph’s EMHSS is a Christian minority Educational Institution, within the meaning of 2 (g) of the national commission for minority educational institutions Act 2004. The medium of instruction is English.The primary aim of St. Joseph’s English Medium H.S.S. is to form excellent Citizens out of the present younger generations by giving them good training and encouragement, mentally, physically and spiritually. The more important factor is personality development and above all character formation. We are trying our level best to groom our students to be intellectually competent and socially acceptable. Ultimately each student should feel that he/she is a privileged person a special gift of God.
